Does your family need a temporary home while you renovate? Do you have family coming to visit but not enough beds to accommodate them? Or are you having a reunion and need some additional accommodation close by? We are renting our lovely Victorian home out for all or part of August (minimum 5 night stay, ?250 per night). It is a stone's throw from the shops and restaurants of Lordship Lane in central East Dulwich (a 7 minute walk from East Dulwich station), and has two double bedrooms, a twin room and a cot. We have a playroom with lots of toys, a highchair and a garden, as well as off-street parking. Child paraphernalia will be cleared away for people without small children! For more information, see our Airbnb listing or contact me directly on here. August aside, we also rent out a double bedroom with a private bathroom throughout the year.

    • There's been a pub/inn (The Green Man) on that site for hundreds of years. Shown on Rocques map 1746. A mixed redevelopment pub/affordable residential/commercial maybe some lower cost offices/studios would help refresh this area. Skatepark must stay surely.  Looks a lot of fun. and much needed on the area. There has to be a pub of some sort.  The rationalisation of the pedestrian crossing is long overdue (it used to be a Zebra crossing years ago) and much welcomed. Hopefully this could encourage greater use of Cox's Walk and the woods. If we had somewhere to eat and drink at the end of a walk through the woods. Or for those old enough who have used the skatepark, it could be an attraction again. The Dulwich Estate need to get off their obsession with corporate tenants (although to be fair they have allowed some independent commercial tenants into some of the smaller premises) and get a smaller, more agile, pub operator in there.
    • I would not recommend Polished to anybody. They sent my daughter away without any aftercare instructions or solution, when i popped in to enquire they couldn’t say anything except that we could purchase an inferior cleaning product from them at double the price. My daughter went back again some time afterwards to get a row of piercings done on her ear, this time they not only did a bad job on the spacing but put in a stud that was the wrong size, the head of the stud was so tiny it got swallowed up inside her ear and she had to go to A &E to get it removed 🙁
