I was faxing at work when a very vivid flash of lighting appeared to bounce off the car park outside the office with an immediate very loud clap of thunder. 2 of the admin girls screamed and one ran to the otherside of the room to hid under a chair. The 'bang' was so loud that they thought there had been an explosion in the building.

(Baring in mind we were a couple of hundred yards away from the camberwell explosion a couple of weeks ago)

Went back into our main office which is a single storey extension, when the second clap of thunder arrived after another vivid flash and you could feel the vibrations/shaking as though the roof was going to fall it.

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
