Free talk 'Bringing Out the Best in Your Children', 7.30pm on 11th July at Space@61, SE15

Recommended Posts

If you want better cooperation from your children, this is the talk for you!

My name is Daisy Seale-Barnes and I run Raise and Shine that coaches parents in mindfulness and parenting skills (see www.raiseandshine.co.uk).

At free this introductory talk (including tea and cake!), I share one of the core skills for engaging your children's cooperation just in time for the six week school holiday - often a particularly challenging time for many parents!

The talk is taking place on Thursday 11th July at 7.30pm-830pm at Space@61, 61 61 Cheltenham Road, London, SE15 3AF

The talk is open and relevant to parents of children aged between 2-18 years.

I hope you can come. Email me at [email protected] if you would like to attend.

    • Hey everyone, Just a quick heads up for those who might not be aware: there's a new law in England that took effect in April. Essentially, if you're involved in any building or planning projects, you now need to meet certain biodiversity quotas.  I stumbled upon this handy assessment tool that can determine whether you're exempt or need to meet the requirements. Hopefully, it eases your worries too! Check it out here: https://www.joesblooms.com/bng-tool
    • Very much appreciated Macron’s comments yesterday on brexit   ””   given the lack of traffic on this thread I can’t help but feel it underlines his point
    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
