Incident on Melford Rd

Yesterday Melford Rd just along from the Barcelona restaurant in LL was blocked for around 45 mins by the Police and an ambulance and all traffic made to reverse back down Melford Rd to Underhill Road.

Does anyone know what happened?

An ambulance was blocking the road while the crew dealt with and elderly resident who had taken ill or was injured in her home. The police diverted the flow of traffic rather than let it back up. I don't know the outcome but hope she is recovering.
