Have a family wedding (so bugglet warmly welcome) to attend just outside of Cardiff in July, planning on driving back the night of the wedding as the next day is my birthday, plus hoping journey back'll be quicker/Bugglet'll sleep.

But, this means our plan is to head down the day before so I'm not stuck doing both legs in one day & to give us chance to break the journey up a bit & I can't find anything that really fits the bill accommodation wise. Don't think I'm being that fussy - want a room for the 3 of us in a b&b or hotel which also has somewhere Mr Buggie & I can go to once bugglet settled so we don't all end up in bed @ 8pm!!

Have tried googling but nothing much coming up/inspiring :(

The Vale is meant to be a 'family friendly' place. I've not stayed, but nearly booked a break on the the way back home in west wales.

It is the type of place the welsh football team stay? But it may, may be okay? There is lots and lots of sports facilities. I was feeling very tapped by having two kids and wanted to go a gym....!

.

Had a look at the website & looks good. As Bugglet's only 1.5yrs and we're only needing it for the one night, it's more the baby listening service that appeals rather than the sporting activities (might have yo take swimming things though!). Thank you v much for the suggestion Echo x

we stay in an apartment in the bay when we go. it's around the same price as an hotel, but gives you the luxury of being able to cook yourself and have a bedroom to put little ones to bed while you relax in the living room. we use this website

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
    • Nice topic and nice song!  1) Definitely top of Canonbie, looking North. 2) What used to be Francesca Cabrini school at the top of FHR. 3) Honor Oak playground, next to Camberwell New cemetery.
