Nursery waiting lists

We will be moving back to ED in October after living abroad and are trying to find a nursery place for our little boy who will be three in December. Any ideas of where we might try? Ideally we would like a montesorri nursery but it seems they only have September intakes?

Blossoms Montessori nursery (on Dunstans Grove) takes children throughout the year I believe. Their day runs 9-3:30, so not sure if you were looking for full day hours. If the hours work for you, I can't recommend it enough!

Thanks alieh I only want a morning or afternoon session as I'm a sahm but he needs and wants to go to nursery, any ideas for where we can find this?

Another Magic Moments fan here, my two eldest children attended until they started at school nursery and my baby will go once she's old enough. A very nurturing environment with lovely staff.

Oak tree nursery proves morning, afternoon or all sessions. It is on Tell Grove. Both of mine have been through and it is excellent.

I looked around Oaktree and Amott Rd pre schools. Thought they were lovely if am/pm sessions are what you're looking for. Also you can use the government vouchers whereas I don't think you can at Magic Moments??

Yes, like Amott Road too and cheaper as Parent run.

Agree with recommendation for Amott Road Preschool. It runs 9.15am - 12.15pm. Worth calling to get on their waiting list (no charge for being on the waiting list either). They have a facebook page if you want more info/contact details (type in Amott Road Pre-school into Facebook search).

Oak Tree is lovely. Slight rip off as it charges a fee on top of govt grant, but there's no waiting list and the ladies who run it are great.
