After school nanny or childminder required for our (nearly) 6 and 4 year old boys.

Starting on 4th September, we're looking for a nanny or childminder 3 afternoons a week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - approx 3.5 hours a day.

Duties include:

* Picking up both boys from Heber school at 3:20pm, taking them to the park/playground, library, swimming class (tbc) or home. We live 3 mins from the school, no car required

* Preparing/heating simple meals and supervising dinner

* Light household duties such as washing up/emptying re-packing dishwasher, clearing away toys, arts and crafts materials, etc.

You must be experienced, provide references, trained in first aid and with a DBS check.

We have no pets and follow are largely vegetarian diet (with some fish) but the boys will happily eat eg meat bolognese or sausages.

We're a bilingual family (German & English); a German speaker would be fantastic but definitely not a requirement.

The boys are lovely, very active, enjoy playing (ball)games, building, role play, dancing, arts & craft and reading.

If you are interested, please PM for more information.

Many thanks

Ulrike

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.
    • I didn't know there was a word for that — thanks!
    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
