Hi all -

Doe anyone have any suggestion re: reasonable music lessons in the East Dulwich/Forest Hill area? I am looking for piano, recorder, guitar etc. lessons for a 5/6 year old. i hear that the recorder is a good foundation into music, as it teaches them how to read music.

Are there are any lesson around for about ?7 per half hour rather than ?15 per half hour, which is a bit steep for us..?

Many thanks for your suggestions in advance.

The average rate of pay for qualified music teachers in London is ?28ph. If you're looking to pay about half the going rate, then you should probably look for a group lesson, not an individual lesson. I am guessing the primary school does not offer music lessons as is is usually the first port of call for learning the recorder.

They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
