sb1969
Why do the council let coaches through Calton ave instead of making them go via East Dulwich Road and left into Dulwich Village. Calton Avenue is much too narrow for these vehicles and in my opinion should be restricted to vehicles up to 7.5 tons. This morning a Redwing coach narrowly missed cars turning right into Dulwich village and then cut across cars to turn left without indicating into Dulwich Village. Do you think the above route would be better for these vehicles? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23474-coaches-in-the-village/ Share on other sites

Townleygreen
I agree with you sb1969, that's irresponsible driving as you describe it and it would be much more suitable if they took the route you suggest. PeckhamRose
Maybe they are at the mercy of their satnavs and know no better. But I agree with the above, tell councillors. James Barber
Dulwich Village ward councillors are:Robin Crookshank Hilton [email protected]Toby Eckersley [email protected]Michael Mitchell [email protected]Sounds like the Dulwich private schools coach service. Presume Calton Avenue is an attempt to cut the corner OR deliver children en route to Allenys/JAGS.
