Hi

I am debating about joining JAGs to use their pool after reading various comments regarding Dulwich baths. Anyone already a member? What is the service like? Does the pool get busy?

I would like to swim at around 6.30pm on a week day evening for about an hour lane swimming if possible. Buit I won't be shelling out if its just as crowded as Dulwich baths.

Thanks for your input

Kind regards

Sarah

There is a free swim available on a voucher in London South magazine,

Having said that , they will probably let you in for a free swim

I took advantage,

Nice pool, 3 wide lanes, I was there 5 PM one lane was being used by kids competing, and i had plenty of room and enjoyed it.

Clean, reasonable changing facilities.

I guess it could get busy, best to ask the admin

I'm a member, think it's very good value. Sometimes, friday 8pmish Ive had pool to myself but absolutley avoid chidlrens times if you are after a lane swim, though if you are a child these times are fantastic and well equipped.Membership entitles you to free classes and use of the gymn. I do zumba twice a week and pilates once, my husband has a badminton court once a week, if you use the facilities a lot it works out very cheap. The pool is lovely.

I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.

If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
