Were they? Did they breathe the smoke of 10 thousand coal fires? Did they smoke? Did they have access to clean water? Did they have access to healthcare ? Did they have anti-biotics, vaccines and other modern 'miracles' Did they have sedentary lives? I agree with many of the things TaraFitness is saying. Just bear in mind that there are many positives and negatives about modern life. The quality and quantity and variety of the food we eat is almost entirely under our control and much of that will have a bearing on our health.

I've just had Nick and his team replace 11M of fencing. They did a very good job which I am completely happy with. It's really satisfying to find workers who will do a good job at a reasonable price, and as pointed out above by people who put in effort and care about the outcome and is Polite, efficient, and Professional. I can highly recommend Nick and his team. He doesn't just do fencing, Ask him about decking and other outdoor work.

Is this the 3rd or indeed the 4th time that the lorries delivering to Buildbase have smashed the corner flat. These must be the shoddiest build quality of any building I have ever seen. And badly designed give the narrow road and business at the end of it. As a warning to prospective purchasers, they are made out of plasterboard, insulation and a skim of fake brick cladding. And all for ?450K min.

Last week I was thinking he had stopped as I hadnt seen any bottles for quite a while, ( I presume a he so I will stick to referring to the culprit as he ) So imagine my surprise yesterday morning 1O Oct 12 He really as outdone himself this time I counted 28 bottles in all see pic attached. He hadnt stopped, he was just making a bigger effort to save up his output for one spectacular Can people please stop talking about a cabbie and oil I havent tested the stuff but it is watery, not oily. This is likely to be a local person with personality/mental problems. It's not causing any harm, but is equally annoying and mysterious. having said that, any volunteers in the area to install a webcam/cctv overlooking that corner of Crawthew/Worlingham roads

This is a total NO NO I live in crystal palace Road and successfully campaigned againest The Actress ( as it was previously ) getting a similar extension. I dont want this pub to be a magnet for already drunk people coming up from Lordship lane etc to continue making noise until after 2 AM. THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA. Once drunk these same people will make their way home NOISILY as usual back through the same residentil streets The owners should know better than to piss off their local residents by applying for this I'M BOYCOTTING THE PUB FROM NOW ON, and encourage other to do the same, at least until the decision is made. I like the pub at present, and have had nice food and drink there, and like the atmosphere, but this is going too far.

There are lots of Mosquitos in ED gardens. So they are a prime suspect. it's difficult to determine exaclty what bit/stung you, and the reaction is very variable between individuals. I'd like to encourage people to ensure there are no resevoirs, however small, of water in their properties. Turn over buckets, unused water butts, pots , anything that can contain water, and is unused.

He's he's a lovely guy from Northern Cyprus Northern Cypriots are well represented in the trades in ED, and are all , of those I've met, really nice people. I only occasionally buy chips, though I love them and I've forgoten his name ;-(

I have called the council twice about this There is no real restriction unfortunately. My neighbour in Crystal Palace Road, likes to burn cardboard and other waste , instead of recycling. He usually waits for a nice hot day, when you have your windows open to keep cool, The he stokes up the fire Actually he hasnt a clue about how to do it, as he usually just gets a big smokey pile going, and fills the street and houses with smoke AHHHHHHH !!!

Hi A couple I am aware of recently in Crystal Palace road 2 weeks ago a perp made entrance by the front door , during the afternoon, frightening the occupant. 2 months ago a perp attempted entrance via front window , using a lever, broke window lock in the process, but was interruped and made off. ( 8 PM ) both of these in daylight SO Yes there is a spate on at the moment Do a security audit of your home ( google it ) Get more secure good luck

There is a free swim available on a voucher in London South magazine, Having said that , they will probably let you in for a free swim I took advantage, Nice pool, 3 wide lanes, I was there 5 PM one lane was being used by kids competing, and i had plenty of room and enjoyed it. Clean, reasonable changing facilities. I guess it could get busy, best to ask the admin

Hi Yes, all very mysterious several sighting over the last few months, I've snapped them occasionally. Worlingham Road on the connectivity cabinet, also at the front door of the Edenbridge, down Crawthew I've had similar theories, waste oil, Market trader or camper van inhabitant. I think they can all be ruled out Its too runny for oil, It may be piss, but the white residue doesnt help, except the perp is clearly saving them up. I presume this is a crime of fly tipping, and there may be fingerprints. Residents need to push this with the powers that be.
