boycott Lordship Dry Cleaners... save the terapins!

I posted something about this several months ago and it prompted quite some debate. Thanks all that went to speak to the shop owner.

Walking past Lordship Dry Cleaners and noticing the same tiny fish tank in the back of the shop (previously was on the front desk) with the same poor terrapins (now bigger) desperately swimming about to breath but having very little to perch on (they have to almost constantly swim about) was really disappointing. Why are human beings just so stupid needing to imprison animals like this?! These little animals are NOT enjoying themselves. What can be done?!

I don t want to be rude or boring BUT what the animals in the farms/slaughter house are doing? Do you think they enjoy their life there?

I don t use the dry cleaner but have you spoke to them ,or report it ?

Sadly animals cruelty is everywhere in those days but glad to hear some has heart and understand that is not nice to keep a innocent creature in a cage or tank

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
