citizenED
I need to upgrade my laptop: my current one is full and I've had to take stuff off it just to keep it going. I use it for the internet, I store and edit photos (so need further storage), store music (and need further storage)and use Microsoft Office and Photoshop. I don't need it for games or TV.Got about ?500 budget. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23651-what-laptop-should-i-buy/ Share on other sites
right-clicking
I have already pointed another forumite towards this machine. Advent MonzaWhy not just take off some of your data onto a back up drive? Or swap-out your existing hard drive with a bigger one? Is this easily done? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23651-what-laptop-should-i-buy/#findComment-547661 Share on other sites
right-clicking
A lot of modern lappy's have a separate removal panel to access the hard drive, if not they are usually quite easy to get to. Transferring the data and operating system is more involved! There are several options on how to do this, You'll need a level of confidence and some basic computer know how to pull it off. El Pibe
Isn't 'lappy' a banned term, like 'mobe'? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23651-what-laptop-should-i-buy/#findComment-548023 Share on other sites
