IrishDancer
I am hoping to take the whole Family on a break to Devon but would like some help. We have a 2yr old and 4 yr old so a place with lots of activities either inside or out! Near a beach, don't mind if it's self catering or not, not too expensive either. Princess
We've literally just come back from a week in Devon with extended family and friends. I have a 10 month old and a nearly 2.5 year old and a surfing crazy husband to please! We stayed on a farm stay at a place called Little Comfort Farm http://www.littlecomfortfarm.co.uk/. As we were a big group we had The Mill House and The Brewery Cottages. I'll be honest and admit it was quite 'basic' but it was perfectly comfortable, Roger and Jackie who own it, were amazing with the kids and feeding the lambs and collecting the eggs every morning was a highlight for all. It is located very much in the countryside but the beaches were only a 10-15 drive away. So it suited us just perfectly! If you do end up in N Devon I have a list as long as my arm of things to do, feel free to pm me if you're interested.Px Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23663-anyone-been-on-a-short-family-break-to-devon/#findComment-547848 Share on other sites
Adam
Compton pool near Paignton in south Devon is great for kids - self catering with lots of shared play equipment, petting farm etc. pricey in school holidays but you may still be able to avoid those given the age of your kids, and there may be deals other times.
