Dr Bike on Cycleway 1 Thursday Sept 26th 5.30-7.30pm

This is the cycleway from Waterloo to Greenwich: my favourite way to get home to Peckham. Southwark Cyclists will be at the junction of Dunton Road and Willow Walk from 5.30-7.30pm fixing bikes. There should be a little map of exactly where that is on this page https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/dr-bike-on-cycleway-1/. We tighten brakes, index gears, pump up tyres, and diagnose difficulties.

We carry small parts like brake cables but not bigger ones like wheels and brake blocks. If your bike requires a serious overhaul you may need our indoor, all-weather maintenance session in Camberwell on October 1st, details here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/free-bike-maintenance-with-hands-on-tuition-10/.

Otherwise, just roll up. Like everything we do, Dr Bike is free and open to everyone. Southwark Cyclists is a branch of the London Cycling Campaign, which campaigns for safer cycling in London. Our website is here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/. You can contact us on [email protected], follow us on twitter @southwarkcycle or text me on 07842 640 207.

    • Emissions from motor vehicles, in particular diesels and even more so pre-2016 for cars, are the main source of roadside nitrogen dioxide.  Therefore you have two choices, cleaner motor vehicles or less motor vehicle journeys.  Drivers and owners are the main cause.  Clean Air Dulwich are championing less car use.
    • I think I just lost my mens link bracelet while walking from East Dulwich station along Grove Vale towards Lordship Lane would have been around 1pm It’s of significant sentimental value so if anyone has found it, I would appreciate them getting in touch Thank you John
