'A competition to redesign the government?s ?get ready for Brexit? poster has been launched by the pro-remain activists behind a nationwide billboard campaign designed to embarrass Brexiter politicians.

The best five designs will be put up on billboards in towns and cities around Britain in what the campaigners, known as Led By Donkeys, describe as a push to give the public more accurate information.

The competition will be judged by the writer-director Armando Iannucci and the actor and comedian David Schneider.

...

Led By Donkeys has taken a characteristically satirical axe to the ?100m advertising campaign, launching a mock-up of a government website and an online tool that lets users design their own ?get ready? poster. The competition can be entered by going to ledbydonkeys.com.

The deadline for submissions to the competition is midnight on Wednesday 2 October.'

    • That's an incredibly (and somewhat predictably)  myopic view Mal. CleanAirForAllDulwich are campaigning against is the injustice of some having to live with more air pollution from displacement caused by the very things the likes of you and CleanAirDulwich lobby for.   Sue you are right - as in everyone deserves cleaner air. And Mal, your industrialist analogy is spot on, the council and their supporters (like CAD) are trying to live in areas with lower pollution whilst forcing more pollution onto their neighbours.
    • Yes, I think that’s exactly it. I’m sorry my post was unclear.
    • FH is so much greener and IMO nicer than ED, sorry. Less commercialised.  The Great North Wood, Hornimans Gardens, Brenchley Gardens, One Tree Hill ) yep, some of that borders ED, so split between the two)
    • Tesco sell pudding rice https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/254877391   And as for olive oil, my preference is the Spanish 2L cans in Sainsbury, it has a real nice peppery taste, not bland like the Italian one's I've tasted, but that's personal preference I suppose.
