Hi ???

I am not trying to be difficult, the only reason why I class myself as British because my ancestors are not English and I was raised in a slightly different culture half West Indian and half Canadian that does not mean I am not proud to be born here. As for your last question in why some Black people don?t class themselves as English but British that is because they are not excepted as English. When you say you are English you are then asked where are you really from or where are your parents from. I think that is the reason why in some cases as for others again it just because their parents was not born here.

that was a wonderfully apt gradual slide from highbrow discussion into comedy skit - how typically English!! Very entertaining for my first venture into the Drawing Room and very in keeping with the recent weather - togoggan run descending into slush - love it!
