Hi Stroller , I think you have a tricky task ahead of you .I wonder if Andy Doidge who wrote this http://www.goodrich.org.uk/history could help at all .I'm afraid I have no contact details for him but maybe he's findable on Facebook ?

There does seem to be a huge amount of info on schools available ,but might be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack !

are you looking mainly for images/photos ? Or names of pupils ?

Hi intexasatthemoment. Thank you for your previous help giving me a map showing the school on a 1960s map. I have made 8 enquiries to the national archives, Dulwich College estate archives, Dulwich Society, Brian Green and Southwark libraries archives all without success. I'm looking for images and photos of the school not necessarily pupils. My sister and I both went to the school. I will try and trace Andy Doidge on Facebook but it's not looking hopeful as you say. Many thanks again for your interest in my search.

I think because it was an annexe it may not appear in records as such but just be listed as Goodrich School ?

Maybe ask Goodrich school if they know how to contact Andy and if so if they would be prepared to pass your contact details on to him with your query ?

this site has lots of discussion and posts from ppl who were at school in the area in the 1950/60'S .http://www.camberwellboroughcouncil.co.uk/camberwelleast-dulwichpeckham-surrounding-areas#comment-32028

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
