Kids Clay Workshop on Fridays 10.30-11.30am for age 3-5 year olds!

Come and join us for a project in clay on Friday at 10.30am in St Clements & St Peter's church hall. We are making some dishes with lots of pattern this week. The kids learn to roll out the clay, join it and put texture in, and best of all get to take their creation home! The hall is off Barry Road, SE22 0HW - it's up the little road opposite the end of Silvester Road. Please book ahead if possible (drop ins welcome too in term-time).

  Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.

  No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
