Two men posing as water board workmen.Today two men tried to get ?1,400 out of an elderly resident on Melbourne grove by claiming to be from thames water .They say your water is contaminated and you need to move out or they can bring machinery in which you have to pay a deposit for and it will be refunded after the work is finished .They said they would even take her to the bank to draw the money out.Luckily she was suspicious and said her friend was on the way and the bank had already told her to be careful. They said they would come back later but didn't.
