Recommendation - play group at Kelvin grove childrens centre

sorry if youve already been but...

I pootled over to forest Hill today for a play group and wanted to say how good it was. Great for a change of scenery. It is at the Kelvin Grove Children's Centre, 10-11.30am, it only costs 50p and they have little tables laid out with paints and aprons, a sand table and big separate water table with watermills, lots of mini kitchen stuff and a lovely selection of outdoor instruments and spongy fake grass. Chalk for drawing on the floor, things to crawl through and all sorts of puzzles etc.

Sorry if people already know about it and I am going on but I thought it was great! Go if you haven't been!

Sounds good - what days does it run?

I think they do stuff on a monday but not sure of the times, and friday 10-11.30. They may have a website, its a sure start centre...

I've been to messy play there Friday mornings, it is seriously under used, not a big space if bad weather but a very nice play group, I agree! Worth the bus journey :0)
