Hello,

After seeing a number of little ones fall into massive puddle right outside the "tunnel" play apparatus in the playground today I wanted to write to the council to let them know but wasn't sure who best to contact?

And before I get an onslaught - yes, puddles are of course part of winter (my son in fact face-planted in a smaller puddle a few minutes later after throughly enjoying jumping in it.) But this one and one another by the slide are really quite big and deep- a veritable pond to a small child. And yes, I watch my children when they play but am not glued to both their sides, so can't always catch both if they trip. Presume others don't have eyes in the back of their heads/extendable arms either therefore seemed sensible to alert someone before someones little one twists an ankle or worse.

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
