As you may know the weather has been rather bad of recent and the leaves are falling from the trees, if you're thinking of getting your gutters cleaned then please take a look at my website www.invitari.co.uk , I offer a comprehensive service from ?55 this includes a clean, drain inlet service, and bracket check. I use a high powered Gutter Vac so there is no mess left on the floor after your gutters have been cleaned and we take the debris away and responsibility recycle it.

Just had Julian round to do a gutter repair.

He turned up when he said he would, was very pleasant to deal with, explained what he was doing and why and it was bang on the quote.

Obviously can't vouch for the longevity of the work yet but he said he'd be round in a day or two to check it was ok and his work is guaranteed for a year too.

We had Julian in yesterday. We expected the problems we had were something to do with guttering. It wasn't, but he quickly fixed what was the problem inside the existing quote. It was easy to arrange an appointment and the work that had been done was explained, clear as a bell. Highly recommend!

Another recommendation for Julian who cleared our gutters and cleaned our windows last week. Julian is friendly and efficient. He also communicates well and turns up on time. His quote was reasonable and clear. Would definitely use Julian again and recommend him.

Thanks to Julian for a thorough gutter check and clean, including some minor adjustments/repairs - all undertaken with a smile and within initial cost estimate. Would definitely recommend Julian - communications are clear and all work is clearly explained. Thanks again.

    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
    • Adapted not forced.  As have numerous species around the world.  Sort of thing that Attenborough features.  Domestic dogs another good example - hung around communities for food and then we become the leader of the pack.  Not sure how long it will take foxes to domesticate, but some will be well on their way.    Raccoons also on the way https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j8j48e5z2o
