Bonfires in (and around) SE22 Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Which are the best bonfires/firework displays on this weekend? Is Blackheath generally good? I have to weigh up the bonfire and display with the transport and crowds. (Who wants to wait for hours to get out of a venue?)

Any ideas welcome!

As a Southwark resident I applied for my FREE ticket to the Fireworks at Southwark Park

which I believe may have a Bonfire. I paid a Voluntary ?5.00 donation.

That was about 3 - 4 weeks ago. Got a reply saying This is not your ticket.

Your ticket will be sent separately in PDF form..

Not recieved my ticket and no further info..

Best in my opinion is always Dulwich Sports Ground - Giant Arches Rd, off Burbage Rd. Saturday 2nd. ?10 adults under 10s free. Doors 5pm, Bonfire 6pm, Fireworks 7pm. Very busy (and you can always get food and drink during/afterwards. You must purchase tickets via eventbrite beforehand (you cannot pay on the door!!) Oh, and it says no sparklers.

Crystal Palace fireworks cancelled unfortunately. The council declined a license.

Correction: Seems there are 2 Crystal Palace fireworks. The on 5th is cancelled. https://www.crystalpalacefireworks.co.uk/

All the free tickets for Southwark residents are sold out now. I left it too late this year.

If you haven't received your ticket I should check your spam folder, and if it isn't there I would contact them, as security was tight last year and they probably won't let you in without it.

Windows 10 mail on PC does not seem to have Spam folders.

I have checked the Spam folder on my Iphone for the same mail account.. Nothing there.

I received confirmation of my Ticket on 27/09/19 and told to contact them if I have not got them

48 hours before the event.

Not Holding breath but not too worried if I do not get to go... P'd off about my ?5.00 or was it ?10.00 donation
