thank god its not just me!! my children despair of me 'getting involved" if I see wrong doing!! I have realised that if one sees a youngster doing something untoward, it is my duty as an adult to intervene. Not necessarily aggressively, but just point out that "you've dropped something darling" (for rubbish) or "be carefull sweetie" when some teenagers are being rather dangerously boisterous. Of course, one day its='s probably going to go horribly wrong and my children will have been proved right, however I am of the opinion that if children realise that people do notice, we might be able to nip some nasty behaviour in the bud. Gillandjoe I take my hat off to you - as a parent and dog owner, I applaud you and yes i would probably ended up just like you. Also, for the record, I too have humiliated myself over the childrens parking at sainsburys when I had a go at a man parking in the designated spaces, not spotting his very small wife and children in the car....... oh the shame (and they were so nice about it!!)

    • Hello All, I'm after sun hats for adults some with physical and learning disabilities who enjoy outdoor activities with an organisation I volunteer with. If you have any caps, bucket hats, or aussie type sun hats that you no longer use or would like to pass on., any condition...I know some very appreciative peeps who would be very grateful. If you need info then please DM me. Thanks for reading.
    • I had the same thing happen about a year ago... a couple of times in fact. I obviously react a lot less to posts than I used to because it has'nt happened again!
    • The link below has further information suggesting that the shop demolition and square redevelopment is funded separately from the station upgrades, so will go ahead:   https://www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/peckham-rye-stations-step-free-upgrade-has-been-put-on-hold-82360/
    • Last time the toilets were out of operation in the station M&S we were all told to go out and up to Sainsbo! Certainly didn't close (I'm not suggesting that's the thing the library should do!)
