Hi,

On my way home last night I came across a white tabby hiding in the bushes and meowing very loudly by the junction of Underhill Road and Friern Road. It had no collar and seemed very afraid of the fireworks, but was very friendly when stroked. It seemed as though it may possibly be lost. It followed me to my block of flats where I managed to get a few photos with my phone but then turned away when I opened the front door. Unfortunately the photo files are too big to upload onto this forum.

If anybody thinks this may fit the description of their lost cat and would like me to email them the pictures then please let me know.

Hi Bena6111,

There have been a lot of of missing cats in & around East Dulwich at the moment, so thank you so much for your quick thinking & taking a picture of this cat as it does sound like it could be lost! You can try uploading your image to https://imgur.com/ alternatively, I'd be more than happy to help if you send them to my number 07715288964 or email at [email protected]. I have a number of clients whose friends are missing their little lions. I can resize & post it here for you.

    • These neighbours dislike trees period. They refused to have lost trees replaced by the Estate on our communal green. They don’t like the leaf and seed droppings. These make the grass look ‘messy’. Similarly, they don’t like my policy of leaving the tree leaves where they lie on the grass verge - hence chopping the overhanging branches. It’s like living in the 1950s. My neighbours have three gardeners with leaf blowers who come twice weekly to remove every leaf from their front lawns. Their grass is cut weekly and all the  cuttings put in multiple brown bins. It’s an outdated mindset of the moneyed classes in my view. But sadly, I’m very much in the minority.
