Hello to any parents, My name is Ashleigh, I?m 21, a part-time student and I am available to do full time/part time/ school drops and school runs Monday-Friday. I have a car so travelling around is not issue. I am an enthusiastic individual with a variety of different experience for all ages of children. I have previously worked in a nursery where I was responsible for 3 children at a time ranging in ages from 9 months to 4 years old. I gained invaluable experience in regards to milestones and how to encourage children to meet these milestones. I studied as a nurse at Kings College University for 1 year and completed paediatric and

adult first aid training and I have a DBS that is

valid and up to date!. I often babysit my cousins who are 2,6 and newborn so I have a lot of hands

on experience! Feel free to email or text me if I

can be of any help to anyone. My email is

[email protected],

Number-07432861760.

Thank you,

Ashleigh.

Parents - do not trust. Asheligh was due to meet with us for an interview on a Saturday to which she confirmed. I messaged her on a Friday evening to re-confirm our meeting at 10AM. She never showed up or responded which goes to show a lack of responsibility and reliability - do you want that for your kids? Why flake? It doesn't hurt to just let parents know that you're not interested anymore for whatever reason. Anyone in doubt, I still have the messages saved.

Due to unforeseen circumstances of nearly losing my father, I was unable to think about what was going on let alone any plans that I had made. I understand that this was unprofessional however it?s not everyday you receive a phone call to say your dad is in intensive care. I would appreciate if you didn?t leave negativity under my post as I?m trying to find a new position. Wish you all the best,

Best wishes,

Ashleigh.

    • ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)? Were some of the concerns expressed in opposition to the planning application a teensy bit overblown...? https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/mega-nursery-approved-amid-dramatic-planning-meeting/
    • If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.
    • Reading The words 'Artisan'  and 'Curated' when refering to my 'Breakfast Bundle' frankly make me feel a bit..🤢
    • I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
