Laser printer repair

Hi, wondering if anyone has used anyone locally to fix a laser printer? It?s only a home model, so might not be worth fixing, but worth finding out...

any recommendations appreciated. Thanks

Hi, The LED indicates it's got a paper jam. I thought it was a toner issue, so I replaced all those, but I'm still getting this error, so it won't pick up paper or print. Annoying as just spent a load all new ink and it seems a shame to throw it out, when it could be something simple..!

Don't understand why playing with ink

When you clearly say the problem is with paper tray ?

Would you change the tyres in the car if your fuel tank is empty or fill up the tank

Er, thanks for the analogy, and no. But while I was at the petrol station I would also pump up my tires if they needed it. And the lights were also on for no toner...

As you are talking about Toner I'm assuming its a Black toner and Not a colour printer.

I suggest removing the Paper tray and see if yo can see paper jammed in the mechanism.

Can be awkward to remove any paper that is jammed. I have a Toner printer (Brother)

Also the Brother Printer as a toner Cartridge that sits in another mechanism that both need to be removed

to get access to any jammed paper.

If the LED says Paper Jam, then it is going to be just that.

I have suffered with jammed paper. Not too difficult to resolve.

Have you tried googling the printer model and the problem?

Alternatively do the manufacturers have a helpline or Facebook page?

I have had speedy and helpful advice for my printer via their Facebook page.
