Roxy - Russian Blue cat - dietary needs

To anyone who might have come across Roxy from Pellatt Road:

We have not seen her in a few days now.

She?s a lovely cat and we are very fond of her. But please do not feed her (or give her shelter)as she has special dietary requirements.

I saw her yesterday morning in front of my house, on Silvester Road. It was around 8:30am.

Good to know as she sometimes comes to my house and eats my cat's food!! I'll make sure that she does not in the future. (What type of food does she eat? I give my cat digestive from Royal Canin.)

I saw her in my street, ran out, grabbed her (gently of course, she knows me and comes running when I call her) and brought her back to her house.

She tends to come back for food and especially during rain it?s rare for her to stay away.

I?m pretty sure that I saw her in Landcroft rd at around 9 this evening. Has she turned up yet?

Only concerned she is being fed elsewhere, which wouldn?t be good.

Yes. She has been back. But she has put on considerable amount of weight which we have been told by our vet is a concern. I ask anyone not to feed her. Thank you

She has been diagnosed as diabetic. Please don?t feed her.

She and Larry used to come into my house and next door too and eat our cat food. I wonder if she?s still doing that..

We would just like to ask the community to not feed her or take her in. She then comes back home

How much attention is your cat receiving at home? I have to ask, because understimulated cats tend to over eat & will wander elsewhere, into other peoples homes, if they feel they have very little reason to stay. - this is just my 2 cents as a feline behaviourist.

Please do not give her shelter, food or any attention.

She now stays away from home for several days without even coming back for food.

PLEASE do not feed her. She has a special diet at home.

She was in our road yesterday. Is she missing again?

Not missing, she?s around but just doesn?t come home for food or sleep.

I see her on the road and I?m a firm believer that cats should roam.

Which makes me wonder where she gets her food from.

If it continues I will have to look her inside which I don?t want to do.

You did not answer my question.

If all you are giving is food, water & shelter, they are very likely to wander & settle where they feel more wanted. Cats require regular stimulation. That means they need attention; social interraction; cuddles &/or play. You can't expect them to hang around otherwise. Sorry.
