Police on Lordship Lane

I feel I must have dreamed it, but when I drove past the St Christopher?s section of LL on Sunday morning there were about a dozen police cars parked around. Anyone know what was going on ?

Almost certainly breakfast meeting at Dulwich Cafe. Hardly any cop shops left so all done publicly at the moment.

breakfast time for sure, I even said to a bunch of them a few weeks ago in Johnnies, "of course, THIS is why there are so police on LL this morning - full English !".

Johnnies is a favourite. Saw them in full riot gear a few weeks back for a pre XR kettling fry up.

Ha ha. My immediate thought was Christmas lunch - no it?s only November

I've seen this a few times, yes a definite Breakfast stop.... tho was a little concerned before I saw them all in the cafe

One year we were on a coach holiday in Yorkshire and stopped at a pub on the moors for coffee and toilets. We were surprised when we walked in the find the saloon bar full of police. The publican and coach driver laughed at our expressions and said that since the police were spread out in this rural area, the only time they could get together for a meeting was to have an early lunch time meeting every month, and that the pub was the only venue which could accommodate the numbers.
