Dulwich Picture Gallery

I had planned to visit with friends the Dulwich Picture Gallery this weekend, and have just discovered it is still shut after the attempted burglary. Does anyone know why it is remaining closed for so long?

Website and twitter just say "until further notice". I'd like to know too as I have some visitors coming to London who suddenly developed an interest after hearing about the attempted theft in the news!

As they say, I suppose all publicity is good publicity...

I imagine they are probably reviewing their security arrangements, quite apart from any forensic investigations or whatever they/the police need to do in relation to the recent theft?

They're keeping very quiet, I left a message with them last week to suggest an update would be helpful ? if only to re-arrange booked visits etc.
