notesink
We've just moved to East Dulwich and have been looking into nursery schools for our daughter and finding that most are full and have waiting lists. I've called 3 that say they are full and have waiting lists, and I've noticed on the forum that other schools I was planning to call are full in the fall as well. She really needs to go to school. She was in nursery in our last neighborhood and loved it and misses it, and she misses having a regular set of friends to play with. She is almost 4 years old. Does anyone know of any schools that have lower waiting lists than others (or no waiting list) or any alternative ideas? Thanks, Leigh Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24261-nursery-waiting-lists/ Share on other sites
katgod
how close to 4? Should she be starting reception class in September? If she is 4 before 31 August she should be going to full time school. If you are a late applicant not sure if you do that via the school or Southwark. If she's not 4 til September then Oaktree, Amott Road pre school, half moon montessori, First Steps, Gumboots all get good reviews. If you are flexible on days it helps. There will be others. School nurseries like Heber, Goodrich, Ivydale etc will all have places allocated but there may be no shows in September. She will be 4 in October. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24261-nursery-waiting-lists/#findComment-556836 Share on other sites
