serious sexual assault on teenager on EDG

It appears on the general section of the forum that a teenage girl was raped last night on East Dulwich Grove, just by Glengarry Rd, quite horrifying and very brave of her to report it.

I know that dreadful assaults like this are rare and I'm not writing this to scaremonger, but I think it's worth putting it on this section too so that people can talk to teens (and us adults of course) about staying safe. I walked home to East Dulwich Grove late last night myself, and now would feel pretty nervy about doing it again in a hurry.

When I was a teenager me and quite a few friends all had personal shriek alarms, which I'd pretty much forgotten about the existence of, but they are cheap and give off an extremely loud alarm, the latest admin work seems to have temporarily stopped the ability to attach links to posts, but you can buy 2 of the best reviewed ones on the Suzy Lamplugh Trust website.
