I can't recommend an installer I'm afraid -the two I tried using (both recommended on this forum) were poor. However for a supplier I would recommend Bromley and Ellis on Brixton Water Lane. Steve there runs the show and he's very approachable and knowledgeable.

MKK on Evelina Rd in Nunhead are a fantastic plumbing and sanitary-ware supplier. Unfortunately they are closing down as the owner is retiring, so their stock is on sale. What they don't have in stock they can order in from the catalogues they have on display and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. They also know local tradespeople for installation.

I?d really recommend Paul at SIDS in Brockley (in the showroom, over the road from the plumbing supplies store with the same name) for supply. He was so helpful and had knowledge of loads of products from different brands. I took a basic drawing of what we needed and he helped me source the lot and was happy to do a deal or two!

    • I've planted a meadow out front, it needs a lot of work.  It's lovely until August and then grotty until the next spring as once the flowers have died back it doesn't have a lot going for it.  Clover is the last one to flower.  It will get admiring looks when in bloom. I laugh quite loud when I pass one neighbour with plastic grass, not only is it dead to nature it is not even laid well,   I should be crying.
    • Andy did a number of jobs for me and was very reasonably priced. He's very helpful, arrives on time, pays attention to detail and a nice man. I'll be using him again and recommending him to my friends.
    • A Y13 student of Art at The Charter School North Dulwich left their A3 art portfolio on the 37 bus after school on Friday 13 February - travelling from North Dulwich to East Dulwich.  TFL and the bus garage have been contacted but do not have it.  It is a large A3 transparent bag with a black art folder inside.  The student's name is inside the portfolio and the bag is stamped with the school name.  If anyone happens to have picked up the portfolio or has any leads please do contact [email protected]  We are really keen to get our student's work back safely!
    • It is sectarianism, which is a really strange stance for the Green party (as is traditionally understood) to take. I don't understand it at all - and this is evident in their UK and O/seas policies
