Annette Curtain
Junior football trials- Dulwich Hamlets FC6-14 year oldsIf your energetic offspring are keen to play good football to a high standard then DHFC are looking for new players(particularly 8-9 year olds)My Son is obsessed with the game & has been training with the club this year. It's the most welcoming and considerate/passionate bunch of coaches i've come across. Alan Medic
I should tell you Nette that most of my son's football career was spent playing for DHJFC.I have so many fantastic memories of some of his games and especially the year they got to the London Cup semi-final as complete underdogs. However there were teams who had not just shouty parents but obnoxious ones too. I'm glad to say that the parents of the teams he played in were great as were his coaches. Actually one of his team-mates plays for the DH senior team nowadays. Peckhamgatecrasher
I have to say one of the best speeches I ever heard (third only to Henry V and Tim Collins) was the coach for Millwall Lionesses, some years' ago. It was about what was expected of the players and parents, was so uplifting I was weeping by the end of it.Alas, some of the parents seemed to have filtered it out.
