It's a link to that well known commie rag the independent...(ha ha ha) so who cares..I did look and I wouldn't get on a train if I was Boris either- too much ridiculous hostility about. How come the 4 year old boy in the A and E in Leeds wasn't sitting on his mummy or daddy's lap on that blue chair? An obvious stunt....

Ermmm..hostility?

The stuff that Johnson?s been ramping for months, years. Oh, so he wants to avoid that now.

No, the reality is he doesn?t want to bump into real people, get asked real questions. He?d much rather stage manage the event and pump out his genetically modified truths unimpeded.

He?s a slug of a character, no matter how much he tries to con people, he?s transparent and untrustworthy to the core.

As Socrates said 'When the debate is lost slander becomes the tool of the loser'.

Oh yes and anyone who has been inside a hospital in the last decade or so will know that there are massive upholstered chairs which could be put end to end for a 4 year old...anyway that doesn't matter because the staff at the hospital have said that the mother put the child on the floor, took a pic, then put him back. He was originally seen within 4 hours and discharged the next day- Labour lies lies and more lies

Laura K in much bigger trouble today - loads complaining to the Electoral Commission

She claimed live to have heard postal votes have been seen - and said "it looks grim for XXXXXX"

It was an 'accidental' hit in the face- yeah, right...

As this thread is Do the Math

300,000 immigrants into the UK every year. Say a family is 5 on average. 300,000 divided by 5 is 60,000 households

Cost of a TV licence is ?154.50

?154.50 x 60,000 = ?9.27 million

No wonder the BBC are utter Remainiacs

And the dirty tricks go on and on.....

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/generalelection2019/video-2067650/Video-Labour-campaigner-takes-Tory-leaflet-letterbox-Essex.html

and this one should try the hospitals in eastern Europe where I know for a fact you have to bribe staff to get anything

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7779655/Sick-baby-waits-11-hours-no-bed-hospital-four-year-old-boy-slept-floor.html

And she calls our NHS a sinking ship- I wonder why?

The mother denies this, as do the hospital. It?s a lie.

But if he'd known you he would also have said "Unless you're dealing with uncleglen, because he really is a c*nt"

This is a brilliant write-up of the whole Leeds General saga, a long read but well worth it... https://theovertake.com/~beta/chain-reaction-how-one-local-story-became-the-defining-event-of-the-election/

The Yorkshire Post and in particular it's editor have come out really well over all this, local newspapers actually doing the job of journalism, telling truth to power, unlike a lot of the nationals who are now nothing more than propagandists. Then you have the TV hacks, willing conduits for 'sources' to spread disinformation, ignoring factual checks and critical thinking as long as it gives them click-bait scoops...

Do you know what facts are? Or Eastern Europe?

UG - just stop. Just because we now have given power to this dreadful PM/party does not give you licence to up your incessant racist ranting on here.

I?ve asked a Romanian friend (and a Polish one, as there?s more than Romania in EE) who both say that you a wrong, fact

They also both think that you were a stupid, ignorant xenophobe

and thought that (obviously) it was ridiculous to suggest a single person could speak for all Eastern Europeans

And that only an idiot posts a link that doesn?t support the ?fact? they?re saying it does

The bribing is true- your friends may not have had a vulnerable relative in hospital in Bucharest. And unfortunately the only other Europeans I know is a Pole who uses women in the UK for his accommodation, and a Hungarian who along with other members of his family are fully, illegally, exploiting social housing in east London.

They would say that - to keep in with you!

    • Our latest guest says that politicisation of universities is unhealthy, and the equation "Empire = Evil" is not historically tenable. He was used to speaking openly. Then in 2017 a Cambridge academic posted on social media in response to Biggar's proposed project looking at the Good and the Bad in Empire: "OMG this is serious shit. We Must CLOSE THIS DOWN." In his words, he saw there was a problem. Problems remain with embedded intolerance but this new member of the House of Lords still aspires to determine the truth of things. Meet Lord Biggar of Castle Douglas CBE, Regius Professor Emeritus of Moral & Pastoral Theology at Oxford University, on his visit to Peckham to talk with Chris Haydon and a small invited audience.
    • What has any of this got to do with Gala?
    • I suspect Lambeth's legal team have decided that it is far better to potentially upset a High Court judge (maybe beg for forgiveness) than face the wrath of the legal teams of event organisers, promoters, service providers who would come after them for a lot of money if the event had to be cancelled. Clearly the original error was on the part of the council so I suspect that would make them liable for any losses/reputation damage incurred due cancellation/disruption.
    • I suspect it was putting "not bankrupting Lambeth Council" considerations first. Cancelling those festivals at a week to go could have been financially catastrophic and may have unleashed financial hell on Lambeth.
