as previously mentioned...let people know well in advance so that those affected can look at options and if that isn't possible compromise made by the host...It doesn't have to be loud after 1am to be fun....it doesn't have to be drunken either....everyone's idea of fun doesn't necessarily look the same.... l think that's a fair compromise... There isn't a law against partying ....there is for noise regulation ..aiming to keep well within the acceptable range is I think a fair compromise on the odd occasion. We live in London.... I'm guessing you live in a quiet neighbourhood ...seems to be an occasional irritant rather than a regular one....

Partying till 5am is not usually planned.....they happen spontaneously when people are having a good time.... To be neighbourly its a good idea to let neighbours know that you are having a party in advance. Turn down the music after 12/1am and try to keep the noise down generally. Residents can then try to make accommodations accordingly. Seems a fair compromise provided it's not the same household having parties really often. ...most people don't anyway, its a lot of work....the host doesn't really relax till most of the guests have gone, so after 1am it's their time to party......

One thing I am aware of is that This neighborhood has better support services than others, particularly around mental health. There are walk-in hubs for children and services for adults. I don't know of many other boroughs that have this, nor whether they are also Labour wards. I'm not suggesting they are perfect, but mental health is a very pressing issue for most people are affected by it in some way.

Really? It was a common practice,and an opportunity to meet neighbours you didn't know if they were door knocking....it was a real community, whether you liked your neighbours, or if you didn't know them, you were informed...it's a shame they didn't do it when people moved in! I do try to bring a dish to new neighbours when they move in...my neighbour did it for me and it was so welcoming....maybe this will encourage neighbourly acts like this....well the idea's out there, if you wish to welcome your neighbour with.. "neighbourly nosh" and "farewell flowers"....Happy Xmas everyone

When I was a kid growing up in the East End, if someone in the street died, someone would knock on each door letting everyone know, and collect a donation for a card and flowers of condolence. Sometimes (not often)it was the first time some people would have heard of the deceased by name, but would usually be aware of them at the very least. Is this something that used to happen around here? If so, does it still happen or is the news shared solely amongst those that knew the deceased personally? I find it sad that this doesn't happen on my street. I think it's sad that the people living in our street, can leave us without so much as a sniff....sad times....

How can the oommunity get first hand information on property that is going up for sale or better still is derelict?

shame local people couldnt have purchased it and kept it and either run a neighbourhood social club.. good for the neighbourhood....could even have run a neighbourhood hire scheme.....or better still a youth centre....for the teenagers that have nowhere to go....I'm not going to look at this after writing.....I can only imagine the backlash....

I suspect Amazon challenged it and forced many to subscribe to prime to watch it....

Also those vaccinated first are finding the vaccine protection is waining. Its true that you both should be seated on your own with no one seated next to you so that you are protected from others.
