Summer with 4 year old and 7 mth old!

Hi,

I'm looking forward to possibly the only summer ever that I will be off work (mat leave) with my soon to start school 4yr old boy and 7mth old girl.

I've planned various days out/ play dates but would love advice on any local activities that both would be welcome at, particularly with the inclement weather :)

I've looked at edtots and similar but a lot of sessions are either baby or pre-school, not both - any advice or suggestions much appreciated!

I will be watching this thread with interest as I am in the same position currently on maternity leave and will have a 4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old to entertain over the summer.

I struggle to find things that will suit all three of them - we tend to spend a lot of time in the park or a soft play but would love some other ideas.

you are not the only ones. My son will be 4 in December and my daughter is 7 months on Sat.

This is why I am planning to escape to Italy (home) for the whole duration of the summer hols. But if that fails, count me in!
