Wasn't there some kind of talk about this a while ago? I think the general consensus was that posters liked to see posts directed at parents of older children (a sort of 'what the future may hold' aspect) and vice versa.


Although I may have imagined that entirely...

I think that was the jist of the discussion, Ruth. I think that would be my thinking anyway - sometimes discussions outwith the direct age group of my kids can be of interest.


Also, where would you draw the line for any split? Once your kids are at school, you could say that a lot of the baby stuff is of lesser interest. A few years into primary, you may be out of touch with what your school is really like for those starting to look at schools etc, etc.

I can see where perhaps this would be beneficial, but it's just not going to happen. From an administrative point of view a lot of time is already spent moving things to the right place (across the whole forum, as well as in the family areas) it would add another level to what is already quite a frustrating task.

    • I mean if its going on for a long time I would think just having a talk to them over coffee would help.seems like they are freehold owners if they've been living there for a long time so i would advise not reporting them to the police since you will be stuck with them for a long time to come
