Wasn't there some kind of talk about this a while ago? I think the general consensus was that posters liked to see posts directed at parents of older children (a sort of 'what the future may hold' aspect) and vice versa.

Although I may have imagined that entirely...

I think that was the jist of the discussion, Ruth. I think that would be my thinking anyway - sometimes discussions outwith the direct age group of my kids can be of interest.

Also, where would you draw the line for any split? Once your kids are at school, you could say that a lot of the baby stuff is of lesser interest. A few years into primary, you may be out of touch with what your school is really like for those starting to look at schools etc, etc.

I can see where perhaps this would be beneficial, but it's just not going to happen. From an administrative point of view a lot of time is already spent moving things to the right place (across the whole forum, as well as in the family areas) it would add another level to what is already quite a frustrating task.

    • Highly recommend Jeremiah from ShinyShine Cleaning who has just done another fantastic job on cleaning our windows, both inside and out. He has been doing our windows for years as he’s reliable,  hard working and a genuinely lovely guy.  Competitive prices too.  Jeremiah - 07947389406
    • Even with this quote from the article? 'First and foremost, the music across its three days is curated with admirable care.'
    • We’l be getting our annual building work done soon (roof ridge tiles redone and the chimney stacks repointed). Mrs Bob says she’ll liaise with the builders and that I should get out from the house so I don’t bother them with inanities. So I’ll be off camping to the Fort again for the Summer - June, July, August, whilst they get on with it. I’ll be in my Decathlon Arpenaz 4.1 fresh and black tent. I’ll have a campfire every Friday night like I usually do.
