Locked out - Callow to the Rescue

Sometimes people are amazing!

Mrs 4eyes came home to find the lock not working, locked out of her own house. I was away, and her phone was running out of charge. She walked to Callow Locksmiths in Melbourne Grove, and while they waited for their call out locksmith to come back, the phone was recharged, and then he was able to open the door. No charge.

Amazing kind and cheerful service from an excellent local business!

Another vote for this company. Just had a problem with an Ingersoll lock at home - potentially v expensive / lucrative for a locksmith - and they spent 15 minutes on the phone talking me through how to sort it out at no cost at all. Super service. Will be my go-to if there is a problem which needs a visit and some expense.

None of this adds up- people are really pleased at using their services for free, well guess what if everyone does this they will go out of business. I wonder what the owner thinks about getting paid nothing to open the door of a ?1.25 million pound house, just because the resident was too occupied with the darling kids to remember their keys?

    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
