VP Removals - Company Recommendation

We had a very short period between Exchange and then Completion (five days) and Peter from VP Removals (http://www.vpremovals.co.uk/) and his team quite literally saved the day. Particularly because we moved four days before Christmas.

On packing day, Peter and his team turned up on time and did an incredible job of packing everything carefully in clearly labelled boxes. And admittedly, far more carefully than I would have ever packed. We didn't have a single breakage.

On moving day, again they arrived on time, cleared the house within three hours and when it came to moving into the new house an hour later, they did it swiftly and quickly, reassembling all furniture.

Their website is set up to ask all the necessary questions ahead of quoting, so they don't need to come round to quote, meaning you save time and money. We thought the cost was very reasonable and the packing service just made the whole moving house experience far less stressful with a toddler.

They worked super hard and I can't recommend them enough!

    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
    • Yes, but there doesn't seem to be any acknowledgement or apology from at least one LD on this site!
