How did I pay for my Olympic Tickets?

My husband applied for ?500 worth of tickets and he won ?150 worth of tickets, he can't remember wether they took out ?500 from his VISA for the tickets he asked for a few months after he applied (He thinks he remembers a lot of people at the time complaining about the process where they took out money for tickets that they might not win) or just the ?150. It was such a long time ago when he applied that he doesn't have the VISA bill and Visa online only goes back a year. Anyone remember the process or is he just going crazy?

They didn't take ?500, they just took the amount for the tickets you were awarded. Go online and check. Just scroll back until you hit the Olympic debit. All your records are on line. But they didn't take more than the actual tickets I'm sure (I had the same chain of thoughts)
