  1. Hi does anyone know what happened at Camberwell Green 14th July PM? Thanks!
  2. don't see any connection to dogs off lead because humans can't be arsed. But, yes more human led havoc: UK: https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/advice/gardening-for-wildlife/animal-deterrents/cats-and-garden-birds/are-cats-causing-bird-declines/ The most recent figures of how many creatures are killed by cats are from the Mammal Society. They estimate that cats in the UK catch up to 100 million prey items over spring and summer, of which 27 million are birds. USA: https://abcbirds.org/program/cats-indoors/cats-and-birds/ Cats and Birds: A Bad Combination Outdoor domestic cats are a recognized threat to global biodiversity. Cats have contributed to the extinction of 63 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles in the wild and continue to adversely impact a wide variety of other species, including those at risk of extinction, such as Piping Plover. The ecological dangers are so critical that the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) lists domestic cats as one of the world?s worst non-native invasive species. Cats leading cause of direct, human-caused bird mortality, © Vishnevskiy Vasily/Shutterstock Cats #1 Threat to Birds Predation by domestic cats is the number-one direct, human-caused threat to birds in the United States and Canada. In the United States alone, outdoor cats kill approximately 2.4 billion birds every year. Although this number may seem unbelievable, it represents the combined impact of tens of millions of outdoor cats. Each outdoor cat plays a part.
  3. Yes, posting another failure to maintain this time infrastructure with the knock on already starting collapse of the road surface. For several months residents have posted to Thames Water: fresh water break flowing freely from under the middle of Upland Road off Lordship Lane at the 3 way branch with Dunstans and St Dunstans. This has gradually increased from trickle to flow and the Road can be seen to be collapsing. Brexit privatisation nationalist wars and their supply disruptions or just stuck in a queue
  4. The bin directly at the Goodrich School door at the crossover on Upland Road has uniquely not been emptied in several months. Hard to believe but true. Filthy. I wonder why the Goodrich School doesn't seem to care.
  5. I've cleaned it twice over months of smeared scattered bags of poo everywhere. And I've just emailed Maggie. It has taken some months for me to realise my eyes are not deceiving me and it cannot be blamed on COVID.
  6. Overflowing uncollected bin at Goodrich Entrance Upland Road Once again this bin has not been emptied of Poo Bags and general waste from Goodrich families and passer-bys. I've submitted a complaint but still nothing. All the other bins are maintained.
  7. you might all want to read "Road Rage Forest Hill Road" /forum/read.php?5,2249857,page=1 As loads of posts have commented, there's no comparison between the damage of a human in a vehicle and a human on a bicycle or walking. Humans driving vehicles are a huge part of the destruction of the planet

That junction is very dangerous for > pedestrians, the council need to address it as a > priority. I hate crossing there. I very much agree. The new Highway Code puts pedestrians first then cyclists. It hasn?t gotten a lot of publicity.

  14. I found the app two months after the second vaccination. Sent an email to find how to remedy. Walked to my gp 3 times over 3 weeks for maybe a minute each time as is protocol to remedy what could be a matter of far reaching consequence and finally 3 months after being inoculated I decided to return to the vaccination site to ask a matter that took once there a discovery of a computer problem embedded and now discovered maybe I?ve helped you unbeknownst to you by helping integrate disparate computer systems
  15. FYI when you get your vaccines they?re loaded onto the NHS APP (download required to your devise from wherever you get your apps) When you?ve logged on, Check that your vaccinations display If they do not (which happened to me) you have to take your little card to your GP surgery for them to chase If the vaccinations still do not display (which happened to me) you have to return to your vaccination site to get them entered correctly into the system Forewarned is forearmed! When we can travel with our vaccine passports... well you don?t want to be surprised at the last minute and have to chase
  16. I'm also looking for someone to put up a small Dunster House shed
  17. Register to e part of consultation. https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/dulwich-review-registration-form/ Overview Register your interest here in the forthcoming Dulwich Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) Review consultation. We will be conducting an in-depth review consultation of the LTN measures in Dulwich Village, East Dulwich and Champion Hill. We want to hear from everyone in these areas, and others affected by the road changes, such as commuters, schoolchildren, and residents of nearby roads. This consultation, alongside an extensive programme of monitoring, will inform the council's decision on whether to retain, amend or remove the LTN measures. The consultation is planned for launch in May 2021. Please register your interest here, provide contact details, and you will receive notification on the day of launch, as well as email updates during and after the process. The form also asks if you wish to receive a paper copy of the consultation - additional copies will be made available at pick-up locations (to be confirmed). Details of the consultation will also be published here, so you may wish to bookmark this page. The registration form will close when the consultation itself launches. Registration is not compulsory to participate in the consultation, but is appreciated. We are using this registration process to ensure that we are reaching all areas affected by the LTN measures and delivering as fair a consultation as possible.
