what time is the torch going thro peckham?

hi, I am probably being dim, but I can see the route but not the timings for the torch passing thro peckham

can someone enlighten me?

Peckham High Street 10.55 11am Peckham Academy lunch stop. Leaves 11.55 Camberwell Green 12.15 - handover to Lambeth.

It's not that hard to find the street by street timings around. The BBC torch site has them - and lets you know if it's on schedule on the day...

Be warned - crowds tend to start gathering at least 30 minutes beforehand. I think the points listed here are the actual torch 'kisses' where it's busier but you do get to see it for longer than when it's just going past.

I've been trying to check ( on the getahead site )for impact on roads around Peckham during todays Torch Relay .

As far as I can see there will be none .

I find this hard to believe .

Has anyone else looked ,can they give a link ?

torch just went down southwark street and traffic was held on red traffic lights for about half an hour, so i think there will almost definitely be an impact!

Been & gone. As one shopkeeper said, the last time it was this busy was during the riots.

Imho, good vibe, happy clappy flag waving, kids with their excellent home made flames, friendly smiling police, clean streets and empty odourless bins plus sunshine all of which pleased pretty much everyone - even the local curmudgeons. Win win.

Watched on the BBC Red Button service on Freeview, the Old Kent Road and Peckham had massive crowds, although as the torch went down Peckham Hill Street, uniformed police ran along infront and Peckham High Street had crowd barriers.

Yes, we were there too (with a home made torch, perhaps we were near you Stacey-lyn!). Great fun had by all, nice atmosphere, kids loved it.
