Rosemead - any recent experiences?

Hi there

Our two boys have been offered places at Rosemead for this Sept in Years 2 and Kindergarten.

I just saw your recent post and am wondering if you might be able to share any info you found out about the school as we havent been able to view the school so are in the dark a bit.

My friend has had 3 kids go there (2 now left for secondary schools but 1 still there) and they are very happy with it. It seems like a lovely school with a caring ethos and a lovely culture.

We almost sent our son there but given his age went for somewhere with a secondary school.

      UK Government Consultation on SEND

      I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.

      I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
