I think I?m loosing my mind. This morning I was sitting on the No 12 bus, stuck in traffic and getting more irritated by the minute, when suddenly I heard a voice urging me to rethink my travel plans for the duration of the Olympics. I thought it was the voice of God, except he sounded strangely like our esteemed mayor. Next I?ll be hearing bells.

Our door bell was rung at 8.12 - I thought it was a great, but bonkers, scheme.

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!
    • Looking for someone naughty on the ground? What other reason would there be, if it hasn't landed anywhere?
    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
