Nunhead forum

Why do people not use the Nunhead forum? Its not very active at all.

I see others use the ED forum when in fact they're in Nunhead, I have recently moved from ED to Nunhead and a bit confused!

actually i have just clicked through a few recent posts and the forum has been invaded by self promoting businesses!

I am the only one of of the tree still posting on Nunhead, firstly it was depleted by Kleinhond then an attempt was made to merge it with another Website that covered Nunhead.

There are three that still post but there is little interest, as all that make contact are approached to join the other site

You will have noted that the daily Posts of Advertising change their name after they have posted to prevent them being traced, silly rearly they will never get any custom.

The site could be sorted if an assistant webmaster were appointed.

Quick question - as a Nunhead resident. What would an assistant webmaster need to do and what would the time commitment be do you think?

I'm technically in Nunhead, but use this EDF forum, because it is of use and local enough to cover ED and Peckham and I have mates in Forest Hill who use it also. No big deal. I remember there was a Peckham Forum and that really sadly was a waste of space IMHO.

I think its all good that the EDF is all encompassing, the area is not a small remote village (despite what people may think / hope) but has neighbouring areas with plenty of cross over themes, shared interests, places to eat, drink and shop etc. Its just a wider community!

I think a lot of folk in Nunhead use the south east central forum which has a nunhead section.

Not really. Just fewer genuine members of the old Nunhead forum posting on the south east central forum. Many of the old Nunhead posts were deleted and appeared under different guises in the other forum to make the forum look busy.

I'd like to see the old Nunhead forum brought back but making clear that Kleinhond is no longer involved in any capacity. I think a lot of the old forum members, including me, would come back.

I would like to see a revitalised Nunhead Forum. I also don't mind adminning either if that's all thats lacking on there.
