Yin Yoga and Meditation Workshop

Sunday 16th Feb 2.30-4.30pm

Goose Green Clinic (East Dulwich Road, SE22 9AP)

?20

In this two hour workshop we will use long holds in Yin and Restorative Yoga to find calm and relaxation.

Poses are gentle and floor based to release physical tension from the body - particularly working with the back, hips and hamstrings. The aim is to create a feeling of grounding in the body so that we can then look a little deeper at some breathwork and meditation techniques.

In February's workshop we will look at some breathwork exercises that relate to the chakras (yogic energetic centres). But you absolutely do not need to prior knowledge of chakras to enjoy the workshop! The main aim is to be able to take a deep breath, release tension from the body and to relax. Suitable for all levels - alternative poses and modifications will be offered to suit different needs.

Payment: ?20

    • If no one else has a problem, then it sugggests that the delivery person may not be aware of any harm and would respond well to a conversation. It also goes without saying that just because no one else has a problem, that the OP is not valid in raising their issues.
    • Remember, you never know what someone else is going through behind closed doors....
    • Is anyone else having difficulty booking Silver Swim sessions (Tuesday and Thursday between 3pm-4pm?) Almost all the spaces are taken before the online booking system opens at 10pm several days before. Last night there appeared to be one space available for next Tuesday. I tried to book at one second past 10pm but was unsuccessful. This seems to have been a recent phenomenon. I made a telephone call this morning but just received a recorded message saying that the voicemail box was full. Am I right in assuming that in person bookings are now taking precedence over online ones?
    • I completely agree with you, Angelina. But it's worth noting that no one else has a problem with her, or finds her rude /  has mentioned her aggressively banging gates / ringing doorbells etc.
