There are many things in France that are 'not the done thing', but to follow the rules and not do the thing that is 'not the done thing' is, for the true Frenchman/woman, most definitely, not the done thing.

not news as such (but it's far too inane to have its own thread)...why is it when you're about to open a bag of Salt & Vinegar crisps the inside of your mouth start quivering? Doesn't happen with any other flavour by the way..(I have years of crisp-eating experience).
